I know I could go in and ask (there is a conduit leading back into the building), but I'm enjoying the ambiguity.
This is one of the oddest things I have seen in Allston in a while, and whatever its intention, strikes me as a pretty profound commentary.

Did you try to use it or were you too afraid?
Let's just say that after I read about the "Citibank" branded ATM's a 7-11's being breached, I thought it prudent not to use it. ("prudent", it has a good sound)
